"Come in again.. Get Shot"

Stumbled upon this while photographing urban decay scenes in the 39th police district about 8 blocks from the North Philadelphia station Christmas day last year. This neighborhood is home to row upon row of defunct manufacturing and mill buildings, squatter housing and drug turf wars. Behind one of the buildings, in a causeway separated by brush and the decaying remains of factory machinery and a 60′s era tractor trailer I looked up- and saw this.

The cold, brisk air tossed plastic bags and wrappers around as the hair stood up on the back of my neck.

“Come in again get shot”- graf that needs no explanation.

After firing off ten shots on my own, I got out of there in a hurry.
